All Girl Scout Levels

Individual Religious Awards

My Promise, My Faith
These awards can be earned at all scouting levels.  The requirements are in the handbook which you can either purchase through Council or borrow from our Service Unit.  Also, visit the council website by clicking here *.

God and Me
These awards can be earned at all scouting levels.  Click
 here * for to take you to the God and Me website for instructions on how these awards are earned in each religion.  These awards are not administered by Girl Scouts, but once earned can be worn on the front of the uniform.  

Bridging

Bridging from one scout level to another occurs at the end of 1st, 3rd, 5th, 8th, 10th and 12th grades.  In order to earn the Bridging Badge (or wings in the case of Brownies) you must complete the requirements listed in the handbook.  The requirements are in the handbook which you can either purchase through council or borrow from our Service Unit.

Safety Award

Know how you and your friends can stay safe.  The requirements are in the handbook which you can either purchase through Council or borrow from our Service Unit.

Cookie Activity Pin

When you sell Girl Scout Cookies you'll get a better at the five key business skills:  Goal Setting, Decision Making, Money Management, People Skills and Business Ethics.  The requirements are in the handbook which you can either purchase through Council or borrow from our Service Unit.


Junior Scouts

Junior Aide 

What could be more fun than working with Daisies or Brownies?  You can earn your Junior Aide award by making and completing a plan to guide Girl Scouts Daises or Brownies on one of their Journeys.  The requirements are in the handbook which you can either purchase through council or borrow from our Service Unit.


Cadette Scouts

The Silver Leadership Torch

This award recognizes Cadettes who act as leaders in their communities.  The requirements are in the handbook which you can either purchase through council or borrow from our Service Unit.  

Cadette Service to Girl Scouting Bar

If you volunteer at least 20 hours to the Girl Scout organization, you can receive the Cadette Service to Girl Scouting bar.  Check with your leader for opportunities to earn this bar.

Cadette Community Service Bar

This bar is earned when you volunteer with ONE organizations in the community.  Make sure to check the requirements in the handbook, which you can either purchase through council or borrow from our Service Unit because it requires Council approval.

Leadership In Action (LIA)

These awards can be obtained by assisting a Brownie group on any of their Journeys.  It is always good to either have completed or be working on the Cadette Journey that corresponds with the Brownie Journey, but is not essential.  The requirements to earn this badge are located in the Brownie Leadership Journey for adults.  You can either purchase this book or borrow it from our Service Unit.

PA (Cadette Program Aide)

If you like to work with younger girls, this is an award for you.  It requires earning your LIA, taking a Council course and working directly with younger girls over an extended time.  The requirements are in the handbook which you can either purchase through council or borrow from our Service Unit.


Senior and Ambassador 
Scouts

Leadership Torches (Gold/Silver & Gold)

These awards recognizes Seniors and Ambassadors who act as leaders in their communities.  The requirements are in the handbook which you can either purchase through council or borrow from our Service Unit.

Senior/Ambassador Service to Girl Scouting Bar

If you volunteer at least 20 hours to the Girl Scout organization, you can receive the Cadette Service to Girl Scouting bar.  Check with your leader for opportunities to earn this bar.

Senior/Ambassador Community Service Bar

This bar is earned when you volunteer with ONE organizations in the community.  Make sure to check the requirements in the handbook, which you can either purchase through council or borrow from our Service Unit because it requires Council approval. 

CIT (Counselor-in-Training)

Mentor younger girls in a camp setting as you build skills toward becoming a camp counselor.  The CIT requires Council led training.  The requirements are in the Senior and Ambassador handbook which you can either purchase through council or borrow from our Service Unit.

VIT (Volunteer-in-Training)

This award is for girls who'd like to mentor a Girl Scout Daisy, Brownie, Junior or Cadette group outside of the camp experiences.  The VIT requires Council led training.  The requirements are in the Senior and Ambassador handbook which you can either purchase through council or borrow from our Service Unit.
