2016 Camp Loblolly
Thank you to all our amazing volunteers who generously gave their time and talents to make Camp Loblolly Summer Olympic Games a tremendous success. You all deserve a Gold Medal in awesome!
145 campers had a fun week of archery, canoes, Wacky Track, laser tag, crafts, and lots of activities to help discover their inner Olympic Spirit. So many great moments at camp this year...My personal favorite was the closing ceremony where the ENTIRE camp came together and performed the most beautiful ribbon dance to "Try Everything" --- it was a grand celebration to cap our amazing week.
Congratulations again to Casey Keen, recipient of the first Loblolly Legacy Award. This award is given to an outstanding graduating senior who has served Camp Loblolly for a number of years with the Loblolly spirit and includes a Lifetime Membership to Girl Scouts.

2013 Camp Loblolly
Camp Loblolly 2013 was a great success this year. We had 150 girls which was the largest amount the camp has ever had. There were a few changes made by the request of the girls. This year we did not have crafts, but instead they made their own t-shirts with reverse tie dye, made lanyards while at archery and they also made posters for their group mascots. The camp also had quite a few first year PA's. They were able to show great leadership with each of their groups and all of the leaders were very impressed by their skills. Sage, Troop 14367 worked with the lime green juniors and had an excellent time. She was able to easily connect with the girls and lead them in different activities and all of the little girls loved her. Having the PA's with each group is a great way to teach girls to have leadership skills and be able to work with younger kids. We had a great week together and hopefully next year will be as much of a success, if not better.
